Okay, Day One. I'm hungry.

Of course I would be hungry. Did I think this would be a breeze? No. I quit smoking about 8mths ago and if I can do that then I can definitely do this. I'm going to treat it just like I did when I quit smoking. When the cravings hit, just say no. It's a simple concept but not simple at all. I already had my large meal replacement drink for 300 calories and 42 grams of protein. Shortly after, I had my protein bar for 200 calories and 20 grams of protein. I have drank almost a full bottle of water. Drinking water is hard for me. I have some crystal light packets that I may try later to add to my water. I'm about to take my multivitamin and drink some more water. I'll have a small shake around four and then another one around seven, to see how that works out.

I talked to Alyson on the phone earlier, she told me to just type:

"I'm hungry." "I'm hungry." "I'm hungry."

There, I feel better.

  1. I'm Hungry... :) I had a strawberry shortcake protein bar that was pretty yummy. AND I drank LOTS AND LOTs of water! My 2.5 hr drive ONE way for work today didn't help at all. My mouth watered when I passed all the signs for restaurants, which never bothered me before.... sigh.....

  2. I'm going take my vitamin now and drink more water. I will drink my next one at 4pm. Trying putting crush iced or eating crushed ice when you get home. DO NOT STOP ANYWHERE TO EAT! No food, 'member? We can do this. It is just bad habits waiting to be broken...
